“ ‘Family Guy’ creator Seth McFarlane, in a departure from the type of material he is best known for, pays homage to

Carl Sagan’s award-winning and iconic ‘Cosmos’ with this docuseries. Through stories of humankind’s quest for knowledge, viewers travel across the universe. Scientific concepts are presented clearly, with both skepticism and wonder, to impart their full impact. Renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson hosts, and Sagan’s original creative collaborator, Ann Druyan, serves as executive producer.”

Continuing along with my current preference for docu-mentaries; Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey has to be the most stunning science based presentation I have ever seen. This 13 part series takes us on a journey through the universe and shares with us the most wonderful and engaging discoveries since man first looked at the stars. The series is visually unbelievable as it works its magic through special effects, and painstaking details which are cleverly demonstrated with animation, spaceship travel, reenacted portrayals and cameos of historical moments that help the viewers easily understand.

This is a series that will spellbind the entire family. Neil deGrasse Tyson is a fantastic presenter and his love of science and admiration for the scientists through the ages is evident. You will never regret investing your time in this work of ‘film’ art IMDB has rated this series with 9.4/10. Absolutely brilliant and justly deserved.
