Constitution Day,
The government sponsors a parade to remember the approval of the new
Constitution in 1917. Semana Santa (Holy Week),
March 16 to 23. The week before Easter is the
busiest week of the year. The city provides free
concerts, theater performances and fiestas.
End of April to May 11 Fiesta
de Mayo, . Manzanillo's main celebration. Festivities
include numerous events, such as art exhibits, parades,
concerts, native dances and a carnival.
September 16. Independence
Day,
October 12. Columbus Day (Dia de la Raza),In Puerto Vallarta, they celebrate the mixed cultural and racial heritage that resulted from Columbus' discovery.
November 1 to 2 Day of the Dead (Dia
De Los Muertos), . Celebrants build private altars to
honor the deceased, using sugar skulls, flowers and the
favorite foods and beverages of the departed.
December 1 to December 12.
Fiesta de Guadalupe, Celebrating Mexico's patron
saint, the Virgin of Guadalupe, the event includes
parades, native dances and costumes, displays and
offerings for the Virgin of Guadalupe. This event
includes the following two feast days:

Lady of Guadalupe (Dia de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe),
Commemorates the Virgin of Guadalupe, Mexico's patron
saint.
